DON’T FORGET TO LOCK THE DOOR



 Don’t Forget to Lock the Door explores four artists' interpretations of home through the lens of childhood and memory. Using sculpture, installation, fiber arts, and painting the artists transform various fabricated found materials to reflect on and deconstruct the nostalgia of structure. The artists' varying disciplines catalyze a multi-dimensional, cohesive reflection of their formative stomping grounds. Spanning from infanthood to adolescence, Don’t Forget to Lock the Door immerses the viewer into the artists’ cognitive archive. Weathered, idealized, and distorted, these consciously connected reconstructions of home take us back to where it all began.
